This very impactful position is responsible to the employee onboarding experience ensuring our new employees navigate this process successfully as well as supporting our existing team members. The HR Coordinator is responsible for supporting a designated hospital leadership group and also focuses on compliance, payroll, benefits, employee engagement, Workers Compensation, Unemployment, and the performance appraisal process.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conducts new employee orientation
  • Responsible for the employee onboarding process
  • Responsible for HR compliance with respect to ongoing employee training, assessments, and related documentation
  • Assists with worker's compensation, unemployment appeals and employee relations as requested
  • Assists in planning and executing employee morale activities
  • Updates HRIS as needed

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have either High School diploma or GED equivalent with 4 years of experience in a Human Resources generalist position OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 2 years of experience in a Human Resources generalist position.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
  • Excellent computer skills to include Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in a Human Resources generalist position within the healthcare field
  • Human Resources Professional Certification
  • Previous experience with UKG/Ultipro
