What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator position at Wilsenergy?
First month or 2 of employment will start out as a day shift for training. 7am-3:30pm
Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operate an Amada HRB 1003/2204 ATC press brake to manufacture HVAC equipment and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.
- Prepare, set up, and adjust press brake as required by product plans and production schedules.
- Ensure that there are sufficient raw materials available.
- Measure and align materials to be used.
- Inspect products, evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake.
- Maintain a clean work area.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to operate press brake controls safely and effectively.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans.
- Basic computer and math skills.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.
- At least one year of experience operating a press brake.
Physical Requirements:
- Physically able to operate the press brake.
- Prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
