You will be responsible for ensuring that data operations and index reconciliation tasks are handled in a timely, efficient, and professional manner. You will also be responsible for moderate database development, monitoring, and querying, and acting as a liaison between the financial data operations group and the database development group.
What you’ll do:
- Equity and Fixed income data quality responsibilities and index reconciliation
- Work with developers and create specifications for new business data
- Develop database tools/procedures to ensure day-to-day data integrity
- Understand and resolve general data issues for vendor supplied security level terms and conditions
- Assist in Database design and write specs on financial instruments
- Assist with large scale data management development projects
What you have:
- Master’s degree (preferably in finance, computer science or equivalent)
- working knowledge of SQL Server architecture and objects preferred
- Working knowledge of investments, 1-3 years of experience optional
- Superior communication and computer skills together with a well-developed ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work with large amounts of data
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize work to meet tight deadlines
- Experience in TSQL and stored procedures preferred
