Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyards is currently looking for a Part-time Houseman in Temecula, CA.
POSITION SUMMARY
The F&B Houseman is responsible for the setup, breakdown, and overall cleanliness of all event functions on property, while interacting with guests in a friendly and positive manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Six months janitorial and/or banquet, kitchen experience preferred.
- Ability to complete a variety of maintenance and janitorial duties prior, during and after events.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Winery knowledge—basic concept of wines, events, wine club and alcohol laws.
- Must have an outgoing, enthusiastic personality.
- Neat and clean appearance.
- Willing to work a flexible schedule, long hours and of a physical nature.
- Must be willing to obtain a Forklift safety certification within 60 days of hire.
- Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire.
- Must obtain an RBS certification within 60 days of hire.

- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs.
- Providing a five-star hospitality experience to WCW guests who attend events, weddings, concerts, corporate functions, community functions, inter-winery, etc.
- Event/wedding/Restaurant implementation from room set-up to serving and take down and clean up. Must use WCW Standards of Service as it relates to proper techniques especially while service and clearing.
- Perform necessary duties to help maintain event equipment, supplies, decorations, etc by washing, fixing, storing, etc.
- When directed by supervisor; perform functions necessary to the winery such as seasonal decorating, assisting other departments, etc.
- Any other duty as assigned by direct or indirect supervisor.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to distance.
Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend, work atop, traverse a ladder for cleaning and decorating purposes.
