Wilson Creek Winery & Vineyards is currently looking for a Part-time Houseman in Temecula, CA.

POSITION SUMMARY 

The F&B Houseman is responsible for the setup, breakdown, and overall cleanliness of all event functions on property, while interacting with guests in a friendly and positive manner.  

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be 18 years or older. 
2. Six months janitorial and/or banquet, kitchen experience preferred. 
3. Ability to complete a variety of maintenance and janitorial duties prior, during and after events.
4. Excellent verbal communication skills.
5. Winery knowledge—basic concept of wines, events, wine club and alcohol laws.
6. Must have an outgoing, enthusiastic personality.
7. Neat and clean appearance.
8. Willing to work a flexible schedule, long hours and of a physical nature.
9. Must be willing to obtain a Forklift safety certification within 60 days of hire. 
10. Must have or be able to obtain a valid Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire. 
11. Must obtain an RBS certification within 60 days of hire.

1. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs. 
2. Providing a five-star hospitality experience to WCW guests who attend events, weddings, concerts, corporate functions, community functions, inter-winery, etc. 
3. Event/wedding/Restaurant implementation from room set-up to serving and take down and clean up.   Must use WCW Standards of Service as it relates to proper techniques especially while service and clearing.
4. Perform necessary duties to help maintain event equipment, supplies, decorations, etc by washing, fixing, storing, etc.
5. When directed by supervisor; perform functions necessary to the winery such as seasonal decorating, assisting other departments, etc.
6. Any other duty as assigned by direct or indirect supervisor.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to distance.

Must be able to occasionally ascend/descend, work atop, traverse a ladder for cleaning and decorating purposes.
