What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barkeeper (Bartender/Server) position at Wimberley Inn + Bar?
We're seeking the right candidate to join our tight-knit team to serve food drinks to our awesome guests in a relaxed environment at our main bar. The purpose of this position is to take, prepare, and serve orders in a professional and courteous manner, upholding a level of standard that exceeds the expectations of our guests.
Your day-to-day will include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Greet and serve guests at the bar, tables, and deck.
- Fill orders and serve drinks to guests, along with assisting other staff.
- All staff assists with plating and running food from the kitchen.
- Handle cash and credit transactions.
- Operate bar equipment.
- Clean shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, bar well, etc.
- Empty and clean trash cans, as necessary.
- Follow uniform and grooming specifications.
- Communicate with support crew and management.
- Receives product and ensure it is stored appropriately.
Bar staff should be well-versed in the food and beverage menus, and aware of ingredients and inventory.
All bar staff shall be TABC and Food Handler certified.
All Employees are required to follow property policies and procedures.
All employees must perform all duties and tasks assigned by Assistant Innkeeper, Kitchen Supervisor, and Innkeeper (general manager).

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 – 35 per week
