Essential Functions*:

Supervises approximately 30 hourly employees within the Distribution Center.
Assists in the management of shipping finished goods and miscellaneous materials from East Alton to Oxford, and receiving finished goods and miscellaneous materials from Oxford, Lake City, White Flyer, and other plants in accordance with company policy and customer-specific requirements and schedules.
Utilizes the Blue Yonder (BY) warehouse management system (WMS), supports audits, and cycle count programs.
Adheres to the facility's safety program, including conducting safety meetings and audits, handling 1st-tier injury/accident investigations, enforcing safety rules, and ensuring OSHA compliance.
Administers the picking function and material movements for all shipments through BY WMS, which includes meeting customer and labeling requirements, loading and unloading trucks with proper counts, and shipping documentation.
Supervises the investigation of customer complaints regarding overages, shortages, damaged goods, etc. Prepares reports of findings and recommendations and discipline when needed.
Supervises employees' activities, plans, and schedules, approves time and attendance in Kronos, and assigns the workforce rotation. Issues discipline and participates in grievance proceedings as needed. Maintains an atmosphere conducive to productivity while promoting good employee relations, motivating and monitoring employees.
Provide daily problem-solving and troubleshooting support to the Distribution Center.
Support ongoing compliance and continuous improvement to all safety performance standards, including all process safety management and safety requirements.
Support achieving monthly sales goals, delivery order requirements, environmental performance goals, health and safety, quality, and cost performance.

Position Requirements*:

Bachelor’s degree** or five years of recent related work experience preferred.
A minimum of one year of direct supervisory or equivalent leadership experience is required, preferably in a unionized high-volume production or manufacturing-oriented organization.
Must be able to work 11:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., flexible to work other shifts, hours, and weekends as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of warehouse management systems and/or SAP is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution, coaching, mentoring, and training facilitation.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), analytical, organizational, and follow-through skills.
Ammunition product knowledge preferred.
This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
