Join the WinCo family to make communities stronger and more vibrant by being the low price leader on groceries. In this Loss Prevention role, you'll be key to our mission by keeping our stores safe and ensuring we protect our bottom line, benefiting both our customers and employee-owners.

Day in the Life:

- Ensure a professional presence while dealing with shoplifting incidents according to company policies and local laws.

- Use your judgment and de-escalation techniques to handle situations in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Conduct loss prevention audits and participate in internal investigations.

- Work closely with local, state, and government agencies on company matters.

- Prepare and submit reports regarding Loss Prevention matters and testify in legal proceedings when necessary.

Requirements:

- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Ability to recognize criteria that constitute shoplifting.

- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Bring your availability to us! We have many different shifts available. We are open 24/7 including nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Obtain State or Local certifications as required

- Must be 18 years or older.
