The Product Photographer is responsible for taking digital photographs of new parts and supplies as well as re-shoots of existing products and back catalog. This person will photographs parts in appealing compositions while displaying the main components and features of the parts in optimal view. Additionally, the photographer is responsible for post-production digital editing of photographs in isolation to ensure proper background and display characteristics are used. This person will also upload photographs to eCommerce website or Marketing folder and maintains production logs and photo histories and records for each part.
A Day in the Life:
- Uses creativity and independent judgment to customize studio backgrounds, lighting, and product position in order to show products in best composition.
- Maintain camera equipment in order to produce consistent, quality photographs.
- Using both PC and Mac hardware and photo editing software, digitally manipulate and edit images to ensure optimal display of main components and features
- Maintains quality of images while working in a high-volume production environment.
- Maintains logs and records of photographs to show current photo status of each part as well as backlog of parts requiring new or updated photographs.
- Uploads digital photographs to parts eCommerce website or Marketing folder.
- Responds to special requests from marketing, management and inventory such as group photographs of product lines or occasional photo ID requests
- Operates material handling equipment including but not limited to hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts in order to move product and parts for photographing.
- Complies with daily 5S cleaning and security requirements.

What you will Bring:
- Associate's Degree in Fine Arts or Visual Arts
- 3 years' experience in similar role
