Main Banker

JOB OVERVIEW

The Main Banker must be knowledgeable in all aspects of the Cardroom, Pari-Mutuels, and Food and Beverage operations. The Main Banker is responsible for adequately and accurately handling large currency transactions. The Main Banker must be self-motivated, well organized, and able to keep accurate records.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Counts down and balances the Cardroom Vault, Pari-Mutuel Vault, Jackpot Cash on Hand and Player of the Year Cash on Hand at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Completes and signs all associated accountability forms.
• Responsible for the accurate recording of all Jackpot transactions
• Conducts even money exchange/transactions.
• Verifies cage paid in from other departments, various types of cage paid outs, and cashiers rvs.
• Maintain security and accountability of facility funds located in the Main Bank during their shift.
• Responsible for verifying and receiving house rake and jackpot rake from daily count into the Main Bank
• Prepare Deposits
• Perform cashier duties as necessary.
• Help resolve any variances that may occur during their shift.
• Provide an orderly and positive work environment.
• Must perform job duties in accordance with Cage Cash Handling Procedures, Internal Controls, Standard Operating procedures and all policies, procedures, and gaming regulations.

• Maintain the confidentiality of all gaming records.
• Maintains a strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements.
• All duties, responsibilities, requirements and expectations pertaining to this position are subject to change as needed.
• Convey a professional, friendly, and courteous manner, in all interactions with internal and external customers.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two (2) years minimum of high-volume cash handling
• Proficiency with 10 key calculators and experience working with coin and currency counters.
• Must have computer capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to work all shifts when needed.
• Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Must be detail oriented, organized individual with the ability to multi-talk.
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong mathematical skills
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment.

• Must be able to deal with stressful situations in a professional manner.
• Must be a team player.
• Must successfully pass Title 31 Test
• Must have the ability to make precise decisions without compromising the integrity of the company.
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours when necessary.
• Must have Florida Gaming license or the ability to acquire license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $15.05 per hour
