Our Warehouse Technician maintains our warehouse inventory, ensures the organization of the warehouse, and helps load and unload delivery and installation crew vehicles.
The Warehouse Technician will follow and maintain a manifest to prepare and stage orders for crews to be picked up the following day.
Core Role Responsibilities
- Reviews manifest and cross references against upcoming installation projects
- Gathers windows, allied materials and special-order material by customer project
- Unloads / loads delivery and service trucks
- Ensures organization of warehouse and cage
- Delivers items / materials to job sites as needed
- Performs simple services as needed (screen installation, screen repair, etc.)
Basic Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 years of work experience in warehouse environment
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Valid driver's license and the ability to meet company insurance requirements
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
Preferred Requirements
- Experience reviewing manifests is a plus
- Demonstrated experience performing simple maintenance on home-improvement related projects
- Previous customer service experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
