The driver for the Esplanade at Palisades LLC, responsibilities include driving the residents daily to their desired destinations within in reason and arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions.

Many of the employees in a senior living facility; Esplanade at Palisades LLC, are considered "Universal Workers" and are responsible for the cleaning and disinfection of residents' apartment units in addition to caring their residents. Most senior living staff have responsibilities that are scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and on a yearly basis. Much of the cleaning is done during the day. Laundry service is provided by housekeepers. When providing laundry services, you are to collect resident laundry, wash, dry, and fold and place clean laundry in residents apartment, on their bed. Payment for this service is collected through the Payroll and accounting Coordinator. Staff must be aware that some residents will want to use their own cleaning agents, and this is allowed as long as the Director of Housekeeping is informed and approves it.
The director of housekeeping has a written or typed schedule for housekeeping and maintenance tasks. Cleaning and maintenance chemicals used in the Esplanade at Palisades LLC fall under the rules of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration also known as OSHA. OSHA is very specific in these regulations, which are highlighted in the following sections.

- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip.
- Pick up residents form the place and at the time they requested unless otherwise specified.
- Assist residents with opening doors, and loading and unloading their luggage/baggage.
- Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions.
- Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions, as needed and able.
- Answer residents' questions about the area and local places of interest.
- Ensure the car seats are clean and comfortable for all riders.
- Schedule regular vehicle maintenance and report issues.
- Maintain vehicle equipment; filling gas tank with fuel, general motor vehicle maintenance as needed for safety.
