Summary: We are currently seeking a social emotional interventionist to work with students in the school setting for the 2024-2025 school year at Hartland Elementary School.Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, as is the ability to work well on a team.

Energy, patience, flexibility and enthusiasm for children and education are required. Qualified candidates will have documented education, training and experience.Hartland Elementary School is located in the center of the vibrant Upper Valley. It is inclose proximity to Dartmouth College and less than a two hour trip to Boston. HartlandElementary School is a public elementary school serving approximately 250 students ingrades K-8.

Our school is dedicated to a student centered approach through projects,an integrated curriculum, differentiated instructional strategies, and proficiency basedlearning. We value educating the whole child through a team approach. We are anenthusiastic and inclusive community committed to student agency and self-directedlearning.Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in a related Human Service Field (Sociology, Psychology, Human Services); Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the development and oversight of school-wide behavior support plans; Analyze school-wide behavior/discipline data to assist in development of schools action plan; Assist in short-term interventions during behavioral crisisCollect and monitor behavior data as needed; Assists in the transition of students in crisis back to classroom environments; Collaborate with teachers and teams in development and implementation of targeted interventions, including allocating appropriate resources; Collaborate with families to access appropriate resourcesParticipate in team meetings by gathering, organizing, analyzing, interpreting, sharing, and discussing student data where needed; Direct services as needed, including working with individual students, families and small groups to support positive behaviors and access services; Provide feedback and follow up to teachers regarding implementation of assigned interventions. Demonstrates flexibility, common sense, and good judgment; Familiarity with MTSS, Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) and/or Positive Systems of Behavioral Supports (PBIS),behavior models; Understanding of data tracking and analysis; Understanding of formative monitoring of behavior plans including the use of data driven models.
