We are seeking a Process Engineer to join our team of qualified individuals supporting a Government client located in Ft. Meade, MD. The candidate will need to have experience in the ITSM focus areas of Release Management and Change Management, to support the client’s running and refinement of their Change Management process under an ITIL based model. Additional tasking will include a migration of some change management activities into an agile model.
- Lead the definition and refinement of Release and Change Management activities
- Proactively identify areas for improvement in process and regularly assess SOPs for accuracy and improvement
- Support architectural development, engineering, design, and integration activities required to integrate or enhance capabilities
- Work with team to establish and maintain a tools baseline, focusing on tools supporting Change and Release Management
- Maintain frequent and direct productive communication with key stakeholders
- Strong professional and personal integrity with very high ethical standards.
- Bachelor’s degree; Advanced Business or Computer Technology Degree desired.
- ITIL v3 or v4 certification, with a focus on Service Transition activities
- Must be a US Citizen
- Must currently possess and be able to maintain a Secret Clearance
- Must have high-level understanding of the systems and applications that would exist to support Release and Change Management functions and processes
- Must have a strong foundation (at least 5 years) in the ITIL processes of Change Management and Release and Deployment Management. Other Service Transition process knowledge is beneficial.
- DISA experience is a strong benefit to this position, and experience in the OSS space is further beneficial
- Agile/SCRUM certifications a plus (Certified ScrumMaster)
Primary Place of Performance: Ft. Meade, MD
Must be local and willing to commute to location as needed (up to 100% of the time).
Other places of performance: Columbia, MD, Remote
