Retail associate

We are recruiting aRetail Associate that would be responsible for overseeing allfrontend operations cashiering duties and stock replenishment in ahighvolume wine and spirits retail store.

This position requiresexcellent customer service skills attention to detail and theability to manage a teameffectively.

Responsibilities : Cashiering

Cashiering

• Operatecash register and process customer transactions accurately andefficiently
• Handlecash credit / debit card and other paymentmethods
• Resolvecustomer issues or complaints in a professional and courteousmanner
• Maintaincash drawer accountability and balance drawers at the end of eachshift

StockManagement

• Monitorinventory levels and restock shelves coolers and displays asneeded
• Receiveand process incoming merchandiseshipments
• Ensureproper stock rotation and organization ofproducts
• Maintaina clean and organized stockroom and salesfloor

FrontEndManagement

• Superviseand train frontend staff including cashiers and stockassociates
• Createstaff schedules and assign tasks to ensure adequatecoverage
• Ensureadherence to company policies procedures and safetyregulations
• Maintaina positive and productive work environment for the frontendteam
• Analyzesales data and implement strategies to improve customer experienceand salesperformance

CustomerService

• Provideexceptional customer service and ensure a positive shoppingexperience
• Assistcustomers with product selection recommendations andinquiries
• Stayuptodate with product knowledge and industrytrends
• Handlecustomer complaints and resolve issues promptly andprofessionally

Qualifications :

• Highschool diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related field ispreferred
• Minimumof 2 years of experience in a retail environment preferably in awine and spiritsstore
• Strongleadership and supervisoryskills
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonalabilities
• Abilityto lift and move heavy cases of merchandise (up to 50lbs)
• Familiaritywith pointofsale (POS) systems and inventory managementsoftware
• Availabilityto work flexible schedules including some holidays andweekends
