The Vice President of Sales is responsible for providing leadership of Wineshipping sales activity, developing and implementing sales strategies, and monitoring and analyzing all phases of the sales cycle. The position requires experience in strategic planning and execution, knowledge of contracting, negotiation, and building an achievable plan to meet revenue expectations.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
- Achieve quarterly sales targets selling entire suite of Wineshipping services.
- Build a qualified pipeline of client prospects.
- Work closely with marketing on lead-generation and qualified inbound opportunities.
- Cross-sell services to optimize revenue with all owned clients.
- Manage pipeline of opportunities in Client Relationship Management (CRM) tool and adhere to standardized workflows to advance deals.
- Attend industry events and tradeshows to develop leads and build qualified pipeline.
- Work closely with our partner network to help drive qualified leads.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations to ensure continuous improvement on CRM and departmental workflows.
- Identify, develop, and implement all sales activities to drive the business and elevate the brand.
- Manage the execution of sales processes and leverage appropriate resources to drive sales objectives.
- Set short and long term sales strategies.
- Partner with Finance to align on pricing programs.
- Actively manage budgets, revenue, expenses and sales reporting.
- Maintain a work environment that is respectful, values inclusiveness and fosters teamwork and cooperation. Demonstrate great leadership in everything you do.
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business, marketing or related discipline with a minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience. Direct industry experience may also meet this qualification.
- Warehousing/Logistics/Supply Chain sales experience required.
- Ability to travel up to 25% per month.
- Competence in understanding of how the wine industry works/operates.
- Goal oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales goals, increasing volume and developing relationships.
- Persuasive public speaking and presentation skills as well as the ability to close deals. Knowledge of solutions-based selling practices is helpful.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with a wine-industry 3PL is highly desired.
- Experience with ZOHO CRM is highly desired.
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting
- Occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 50lbs
- Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
- Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
- Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts
- Occasional loud noise
- Occasional varying environmental temperature changes
