About the Role:
Wing is looking for a Global Facilities Lead to join our Operations team based in California. The ideal candidate has a passion for developing policies, strategies and managing Wing’s Real estate portfolio. As Wing’s Global Facilities Lead, you will be leading and managing a team of people across the globe to drive consistency, efficiency, and help to embed company culture into a world class workplace experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Own property portfolio strategy and tactics for Wing - balance growth ahead of need whilst avoiding waste through poor utilization; define development strategy at new locations. Oversee facility operations across all our new and existing global offices
- Deliver facilities that consistently meet the disparate and demanding needs of the Wing business, engineering and operations teams, thinking ahead to provide additional new capabilities in a timely and cost effective manner
- Build and manage strong relationships with key business customers, understanding their needs, delivering on their requirements and successfully influencing their thinking to deliver optimized solutions
- Partner effectively internal and external service providers (both domestic and international) including facilities managers, contractors, security and other service providers to deliver high quality, cost effective solutions appropriate to Wing’s developing and evolving needs
- Partner effectively with key support functions e.g. Finance, Procurement, Legal and Alphabet partners to manage resource allocation, budget, risk, legal and other considerations across the Wing facility portfolio. Manage relationships with internal relationships to provide visibility on portfolio progress and risks and influencing leadership thinking as appropriate
- Ensure consistency across all offices and explore and implement innovative ways to enhance operational efficiency, team productivity, and meet the evolving needs of the modern workforce and environment
- Ensure facilities operations comply with safety, legal and regulatory requirements and internal company policy
- Assist with monitoring, adhering and work through all local COVID related restrictions and accommodations
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master’s degree desirable)
- 15 years of business experience including 10 years of real estate / facilities management / Workplace services or consulting experience. Specific experience in leading a multi-site global facilities function in an early stage / rapid growth environment
- Outstanding track record in planning and managing at both the strategic and operational level - organized, detail-oriented, strategically focused and ability to multitask in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Strong multi-tasking capability with a proven ability to drive progress and work through issues across multiple tracks simultaneously
- Exceptional in partnering, influencing and presentation skills including the proven ability to influence and lead discussions / decision making at the C-Suite level
