Painter (Tierra Vista Communities at Peterson Space Force Base)

WinnCompanies is searching for a dependable and motivated Painter to join our military housing team at Tierra Vista Communities at Peterson Space Force Base, which is located in Colorado Springs, CO. In this role, you will be responsible for painting homes, primarily interiors. You will also complete other site responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Please note that the pay range for this position will be $18.03 to $20.74 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, applications will be accepted until midnight on April 1st, 2024.

• Paint both the exterior and interior of homes, common areas, and community offices and buildings.
• Perform all painting in accordance with schedule issued by management.
• Apply texture to ceilings and walls using an air texture applicator and hopper.
• Ensure proper protection of unpainted surfaces through the use of drop cloths, tarps, tape, masking, and paint shields.
• Maintain a vehicle inventory or paint equipment and supplies.
• Maintain all equipment in as clean and neat a condition as possible.
• Attend trainings, workshops, and meetings as position requires.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1-3 years of relevant work experience.
• A current driver's license in good standing and ability to meet the driving records standards outlined in the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy.
• Knowledge of surface peculiarities and types of paint and sealants for different applications.
• Knowledge of multiple painting methods, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Ability to pass a physical examination to ensure respirator health and capacity if working on a property that paints with sprayers.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.

• Vocational or technical training.
