Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Step Down Nurse to join our team at . As a Step Down Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients who are transitioning from the intensive care unit (ICU) to a general medical-surgical unit. Your role will be crucial in monitoring patients' conditions, administering medications, and coordinating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties:
- Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on post-ICU care and self-management techniques
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
- Respond promptly to any changes in patients' conditions or emergencies
- Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and their families during the transition period

Qualifications:
- Valid nursing license in
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting, preferably in an ICU or step down unit
- BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
