What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Analyst position at Winter Services, LLC?
The Financial Operations Analyst is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and providing financial information and support for our Milwaukee branch. This position will review contracts, conduct financial analysis, monitor expense and margin levels and manage/support projects within the West Allis branch.
Responsibilities:
Works as a partner with Management and the Operations Department at Winter Services by communicating financial and cost information that will drive profitable business decisions.
Provide timely, proactive analysis and data relevant to driving continuous improvement in Operations.
Ensures customer and vendor information is accurate and in line with defined margins.
Review and track salt inventory and usages.
Ensures proper internal controls are in place and functioning to minimize risk throughout the operation.
Works with Management and Internal Auditors as necessary to ensure compliance.
Works with IT support to provide accurate and timely systems business data.
Assist other departments with various financial and cost reporting projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or 5 years of similar job experience.
Demonstrated ability to perform financial analyses and to project anticipated results.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Advanced EXCEL user, Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
QuickBooks and Salesforce system experience is a plus.
