What you’ll do
- Conversions – support acquired banks throughout the conversion process. Play a lead role in the migration of acquired financial institution’s deposit data mapping by working closely with legacy data provider and FIS conversion analyst.
- Level 1 and Level 2 support to Wintrust Banks on FIS systems along with Wintrust Technology supported applications.
- Assist in implementations of new products / services / enhancements and / or full upgrades of applications.
- IRS Government/Year-End reporting. Assist with the review and clean up for annual IRS reporting.
- Assist with IRA and HSA support to retail bankers and other business units.
- Assist with Disaster Recovery exercises as assigned by the manager.
- Willing to attend training in systems that are supported to be able to recommend enhancements when needed.
- Data Analysis – Provide detailed report writing, data analysis, and data cleanup for deposit/customer related information.
Qualifications
- 5-6 years of related experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent or commensurate experience preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Works well in a fast growing environment with the ability to deliver on time.
- Strong ability to handle multiple demands with a sense of urgency, drive and energy.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing needs and demands dictated by business and IT requirements.
- Ability to work diplomatically with all levels of people with the Wintrust organization and with the vendors that support the applications.
- Good problem-solving skills and an aptitude for attention to detail.
- This position does not require strong knowledge relating to ALL of the above-mentioned applications but does require strength in Deposit knowledge and an aptitude to work through complex situations.
