Enterprise Architect

Role Purpose

Enterprise architect is a client facing role, responsible for the development of the overall vision  and work as a Key conduit between Wipro & Customer to ensure organization’s IT strategy is aligned with its business goals and work with the Practices to   transforms that vision into a solution that can be implemented and achieves the client’s expected outcomes. 

Roles & Responsibilities

• Accountable for activities around solution ideation and solution design.
• Understands business context and challenges to define the vision and requirements for the solution. Recommends potential options, selecting the most optimal option (across RFI/RFP and proactive pursuits)
• Co-creates with the client and communicates how Wipro’s solution achieves the client’s desired outcomes.
• Develops roadmap for the preferred solution, including the bottom-up estimation of delivery requirements and cost.
• Details out appropriate solution, upgrades, replacements, integration, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
• Successfully incorporates alliance partner solutions, acquired entity solutions, assets/tools/IPs in the solution to bring ‘best of Wipro’ to the design
• Communicates the architecture to the stakeholders and collaborates and coordinates with architects from other practices and DTAs (for multi-tower deals)
• Assures solution is not only fit for the specific purpose but also adheres to standards and guidelines of the practice solutions.
• If scope/top-down pricing changes, proactively adjusts and modifies the solution.

Enterprise Architect – Key Prerequisites

• Excellent communication skills and customer management skills
• Should be able to deliver architectural initiatives in the space of digital, cloud, open-source technologies with a working knowledge of Infrastructure.  Should have performed a similar role & capacity for large transformational engagements.
• Should be able to work with CXO teams and enterprise-wide initiatives in an advisory role
• Should have experience in driving cloud transformation initiatives
• Experience in defining the IT strategy and roadmap
• Should have experience across all the architectural layers, the UI/UX, Services in Java/.NET, Integration, Data, Security, Infrastructure Services

• Experience in handling the GTM activities for the Enterprise Architecture practice for banking sector, Analyzing the current state of the company's technology, processes, and services, identify areas of improvement and create a plan for future development

• Experience in RFI/RFP, Providing solutions for complex, multi-million transformational initiatives.
• Experience in shaping opportunities and providing digital solutions for these opportunities.
• Experience with performing discovery and assessment of customers’ overall portfolio, IT and business priorities and customer insights to create a roadmap
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team, as well as with various stakeholders, working closely with sales team to guide and evangelize patterns to help in navigating the customer ecosystem.

Desired capabilities/ skillsets: 10-15 years  experience with strong Technical and Domain knowledge of Banking Ecosytem
