A data manager is responsible for developing, overseeing, organizing, storing, and analysing data and data systems. A data manager ensures that all of this is always done with the utmost security and confidentiality, and in a timely manner

- Lead the engineering teams.
- Overall responsible for the architecture, technical design, vision, and implementation strategy.
- Get the product plans executed and own the delivery commitments.
- Develop and evolve engineering processes to optimize team efficiency and product quality.
- Mentor and guide a high performing team.
- Collaborate closely with product management, design, consultants, customers, and cross-functional teams to keep the development team aligned with product goals
- Define clear team quarterly and yearly goals and guide with the execution.
- Review and provide feedback on features, technology, architecture, design, and creative problem solving.
- Take the deal in defining team culture and product vision.
- Experience with Linux configuration, SQL databases, Python, Azure and other related applications
- Experience on managing Data projects involving any of Cloud Platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Ability to work with large data sets will help you in this position
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to extrapolate conclusions from large data sets
- Experience in Agile Methodology
- Good understanding of and affinity with Integrated Oil & Gas industry is preferred
- Understanding of Datawarehouse, Data Lake, Big data technologies
- Industry leading certifications such as PMP/ACP/Prince2 would be an added advantage
