Job Role: Splunk Engineer L3

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Splunk inclusive of engineering, administration, deployment and troubleshooting both in OnPrem & Cloud
• Onboarding of data sources from different technologies into Splunk
• Experience on Development of dashboards and visualizations, reports and alerts
• Strong knowledge on parsing, field extraction and data normalization (CIM complaint)
• Good to have Automated CI/CD, Terraform and CRIBL
• Good to have Python Experience
• Works closely with enterprise IT, Delivery, and other functional area partners to ensure adequate security solutions are engineered and deployed in cloud environments and together with other platforms to mitigate identified risks sufficiently, and to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluates secure solutions, based on approved security engineering standards.
• Implements new cloud security technologies, architectures, and security products that will support.
• Deploy, maintain, and support systems in cloud.
• Document design decisions and ensure compliance.
• Manage security operations in cloud environments.
• Be responsible for configuring and automating our applications in our AWS instance.
• At least 4 years of experience in an architecture role within infrastructure, network, cloud and multiplatform environments
• Experience with security issues, techniques and implications across virtualization, Amazon Web Services, and cloud

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and resolve technical roadblocks/ escalations as per SLA and quality requirements.
• If unable to resolve the issues, timely escalate the issues.
• Provide product support and resolution to clients by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions.
• Troubleshoot all client queries in a user-friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Offer alternative solutions to clients (where appropriate) with the objective of retaining customers’ and clients’ business.
• Organize ideas and effectively communicate oral messages appropriate to listeners and situations.
• Follow up and make scheduled call backs to customers to record feedback and ensure compliance to contract SLA’s
• Mentor and guide Production Specialists on improving technical knowledge.
• Collate trainings to be conducted as triage to bridge the skill gaps identified through interviews with the Production Specialist
• Develop and conduct trainings (Triages) within products for production specialist as per target.
• Inform client about the triages being conducted.
• Undertake product trainings to stay current with product features, changes and updates.
• Enroll in product specific and any other trainings per client requirements/recommendations.
• Identify and document most common problems and recommend appropriate resolutions to the team
