Unbottle your potential … Wis-Pak is a nationally recognized leader in the bottling and canning of drinking water and carbonated soft drinks. There is an immediate opening for a Human Resource Generalist for our Hattiesburg, Ms production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
· This position is responsible for providing timely and accurate administrative support to the Corporate Human Resources Department
· HR data-entry and record keeping; facility time & attendance tracking and payroll preparation
· Recruit, staff, and orientate new employees for facility
· Accurately diagnose facility employee issues, develop solutions, and work as part of the management team to implement action plans
· Workers Comp reporting and file management
· Provide assistance to applicants, facility employees, and management staff
· Prepare and maintain employee records, employment reporting and documentation
· Ensure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations
Qualifications for Consideration:
· Advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years in general human resources work experience which included FMLA administration, payroll, recruiting, conducting orientations, training, advising employees on Company benefit programs, personal computing, data entry, and management of multiple tasks & priorities
· Strong working knowledge of personal computing, with experience in Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook and ADP WorkforceNow payroll suite
· Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
· Ability to work with limited supervision with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
· Ability to exercise good judgment and make responsible decisions
· Ability to exercise discretion with high levels of confidentiality and personal integrity
