Position Overview:
Primary responsibility is to provide first rate customer service to Shell Lake visitors and meeting participants, which shall include but will not be limited to serving as receptionist, answering/routing calls on the main switchboard, coordinating arrangements for use of the Shell Lake conference center facilities, & providing hospitality services for groups and individuals using the center.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. One year related post-secondary education/ training OR two years related work experience, OR a combination of related post-secondary education/ training and work experience totaling two years.
2. Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of computers, computer applications and software such as email, word processing and spreadsheet programs (Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
3. Ability to contribute to a team environment.
4. Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with students, staff and instructors.
Physical Demand:
Standing, Walking (Frequently);
Sitting, handling/fingering, reaching outward, reaching above shoulders (Occasionally);
Lifting/Carrying 10 lbs. or less (Frequently), 11-20 lbs. (Occasionally);
Pushing/Pulling 12 lbs. or less (Occasionally)
Hours:
Hour will vary greatly; infrequent; availability to work must allow for flexibility and short notice
