Laser Table Operator

Company Overview: Wisconsin Flowgate and Drainage is a dynamic and innovative manufacturing company. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Laser Table Operator and Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. Our facility is equipped with a 2006 Amada FO-4020NT CNC Laser Cutting System along with all the fabricating equipment needed in our custom manufacturing process. We are looking for a qualified individual to operate and excel in metal fabrication.

Position Overview: Title: Sheet Metal Fabricator and CNC Laser Cutting System Operator Location: Wisconsin Rapids, WI
Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Operate and program the Laser Cutting System to cut and shape sheet metal components according to specifications.
• Set up and load materials into the CNC machine, ensuring proper alignment and accuracy.
• Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine cutting specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on the CNC Laser Cutting System to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor machine operation and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and achieve high-quality results.
• Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator with expertise in operating CNC Laser Cutting Systems.
• Proficient in programming and operating a laser table.
• Strong understanding of metal fabrication techniques and processes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on producing high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training or certification in sheet metal fabrication.
