What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Photographer position at Wise Buy LLC?
Responsibilities:
- Edit and retouch photos using industry-standard software
- Manage and organize digital files and maintain an efficient workflow
- Stay up-to-date with current photography trends and techniques
- Utilize color theory and composition principles to create visually compelling images
- Conduct research and gather information for journalistic photography assignments
- Manage social media accounts and post engaging content to showcase your work
Qualifications:
-Detailed oriented and creative.
-Enjoy taking pictures.
-Knowledge of collectibles, antiques, thrifting, and/or collecting strongly preferred.
-Proficient with PCs, including email, Microsoft applications, and internet use.
-Ability to follow instructions and work independently in fast-paced environment.
-Strong English writing skills, including grammar and punctuation, to list merchandise for auction
-Comfortable staging merchandise and using digital device or smart phone for photography.
-Basic math and communication skills.
-Able to coordinate and work courteously as a team member to achieve group and department goals.
-Preference given to experience researching merchandise online using web browser and eBay
-Able to stand or sit for long periods, plus bend, lift, and reach often throughout a shift.
-Understand and follow established safety rules.
-Must be at least 18 years
-Detailed individual to take pictures and upload details of products
- Knowledge of photography techniques, such as composition, lighting, exposure, and depth of field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and subjects
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the project requirements
- Experience in social media management is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
