What are the responsibilities and job description for the Branch Manager position at Wise Snacks?
Wise Snacks is seeking a Branch Manager in our Henderson, NC location.
This role is responsible for coordinating and executing all branch operations, including staff hiring, training, supervising and managing our resources to attain sales goals. As the leader of the branch team, they will develop appropriate strategies to increase productivity and performance levels in order to achieve the branch's financial targets.
The Branch Manager needs to assign and direct all work performed in the branch and to supervise all areas of operation, manage staff, foster a positive environment and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. This leader should have a hands-on approach and commitment to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Plan and execute sales initiatives to improve topline sales and profits
- Clear communication to the sales team of growth objectives and their role in achieving them
- Provide support as necessary to execute growth strategy
- Ensure all elements necessary for the success of the sales plan are available
- Evaluate performance of sales programs with sales team
- Develop new and improved strategies to assist in growth of our brands
- To generate sales forecasts and create plans to achieve them
- New Brand packaging introduction forecast and coordination of order
- Account Development
- Understand customer needs and how to collaborate with them to fill those needs
- Establish and nourish relationships in all accounts in order to become a primary snacks provider
- Identify new customers in order to grow our brands
- Branch Management
- Ensure all associates understand the company mission, policies and protocols
- Overseeing office operations including the processing of all orders placed, coordinating communication with Main Office, confirming that all policies are followed with regard to paperwork and coordination
- Review branch expenses to be compliant with forecast budget
- Communicate inventory and materiel needs to Warehouse Manager for the timely execution of sales programs
- Review of the Warehouse operations including the ordering, receiving, warehousing and inventorying of all product carried by the Branch
- Reviewing all Logistics issues to be sure all Company vehicles are properly maintained and all proper paperwork is in each vehicle
- Personnel Development
- Communication of company policies
- Educate and train staff to enhance performance and efficiency
- Personal engagement with staff to assist in individual goal setting and achievement
- Ensure staff work under company cultural principles
- Manage Independent Operator Relationships
- Engage IOs to establish a true business partnership.
- Provide product, selling and merchandising education.
- Provide selling support as necessary to facilitate execution of sales objectives
- Management and communication of AR for IO team
- Regular communication to receive feedback regarding changes and trends in the market
- Communication of best practices to support continued growth of sales and therefore route equity
Education & Experience
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing or related field
- 7 - 10 years' sales and marketing experience
- 7 - 10 years' forecasting and inventory management experience
- 7 years of sales management experience
Preferred:
- Master's degree
