- Maintain focus on Quality Management System (LP-9000).
- Support the LP9000 Quality Management System Procedures including, but not limited to Corrective and Preventive Action, Internal Quality Audits, Product Identification and Traceability, Inspection and Testing, and Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment.
- Understand, follow and assist with training of the Quality Management System, Quality Plans, Work Instructions and System Procedures.
- Support the LP9000 Quality Management System Procedures including, but not limited to Corrective and Preventive Action, Internal Quality Audits, Product Identification and Traceability, Inspection and Testing, and Inspection, Measuring and Test Equipment.
- Evaluate measurement systems and gather and analyze data.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Quality Manager.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace.
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformity related to product, process, and the system.
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system.
- Initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- Verify the implementation of solutions.
- Control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
- Must have basic Math, English (verbal & written) and some Computer skills.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to work with people from different departments in an office and manufacturing environment.
- Must have a good understanding of the following skills, or be pursing them through training:
- Safety Procedures
- Quality Management System (LP9000)
- Statistical Process Control
- Continuous Quality Improvement Process
- Ability to work any shift as directed by Quality Manager.
- Ability to accurately read Tape Measure, Micrometer, Caliper, Precision Scale and other instruments related to the job.
- Must have a thorough knowledge of all product lines (Bonded, Specialty) including specifications and formulations.
- Ability to train other people about our products, processes and Policies and Procedures.
