What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Wise Staffing?
Job Summary:
· Responsible for preparing samples and tests.
· Perform sample inspections/analysis of ingredients, work in progress and finished products.
· Communicate food safety and quality issues and procedure-related information in a timely manner.
· Review documentation and data
· Support enforcement of production GMP’s and food safety rules.
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with Food Safety guidelines procedures, rules and regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Qualifications:
· Minimum 1 year of experience in a laboratory environment preferable in the Food and Beverage Industry.
· Attention to Detail
· Qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
· Ability to work in a production environment.
· Knowledge of good manufacturing practices is preferred.
· High school diploma or GED.
