Description
The HR Data Entry Specialist is primarily responsible for HR data administration by entering, maintaining, auditing, and processing sensitive HR data. You will apply your knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of administrative tasks. This position may partner with Human Resources, payroll and/or benefits team members on a variety of special projects and activities. Perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks and provide support to the HR department in duties such as updating HR database, processing employee’s requests, assisting with various payroll duties, and provide additional support as requested. Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and perform daily work under general supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee records
- Assists with payroll and performs audits to ensure data is accurate
- Ensures data integrity and assists with resolution of issues through research, communication, collaboration, and problem solving
- Provides HR data support for Payroll, Recruiters, and Management
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Required Knowledge and Skills:·
- Team player with excellent attention to detail while ensuring accuracy
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong math skills, critical thinking and analytical problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; consistently pleasant during interactions, welcoming, helpful and diplomatic, and ability to interact effectively with other departments
- Solid PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office - especially strong in Outlook and Excel
- Enthusiasm for providing high quality data services; data entry accuracy and productivity, maintaining data, and developing better systems and related processes
- Strong organization and time management competencies; ability to be flexible, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced and changing environment
Basic Qualifications:·
- Associate degree or educational equivalent preferred
- One year of Data Entry experience minimum
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
- Flexible thinker with problem solving skills
- Ability to follow instructions, verbal or written
- Experience with databases or staffing systems is required
- Ability to work in a high-performance environment
Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 3 years (Preferred)
- Data Entry: 1 year (Required)
