Account Manager – Builder Group Sales

Wiseway Supply is seeking an Account Manager to join our Builder Group Sales Team. The Account Manager will maintain, grow, and cultivate our business relationships with our production builder customers. The ideal candidate is an energetic team player who understands how to effectively drive results in a fast-paced and rapidly growing company. The candidate must also be able to develop relationships and identify opportunities to increase sales and provide excellent customer service. The candidate must have an interest in innovating to solve business problems, a willingness to immediately tackle key challenges, and thrive in a customer service/sales environment.

Summary of Job:

Responsible for the effective development and management of assigned accounts. This includes sales growth, customer service, and relationship development.

Essential Functions:

Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives, decision-makers, builder field supervisors, and stakeholders, and preparing sales reports

Building customer relationships, answering client queries and identifying new business opportunities among existing and new customers, devising a sales strategy, plan, and executing a plan for each customer
This position will be the lead person interacting with our electrical, plumbing, and lighting strategic suppliers that support our production builder business
Be knowledgeable about, and ensure continuous improvement and promotion of, Wiseway’s customer services and value-added benefits
Continually improve product and technical knowledge
Responsible for taking the lead role in inventory management, product updates, price strategies, and customer interface options (customer portals, email, text, phone calls, and regular business reviews)
Work with key manufacturers to improve customer connection with Wiseway through joint sales
Communicate and work with Inside Sales to maximize customer service, e.g., order and pricing accuracy, etc.
Provide impeccable customer service including quotation follow-up and follow-through on customer requests
Maintain proficiency in Wiseway operational procedures and the operation of the Wiseway computer system
Meet regularly with the Manager to review accounts and performance plan
Continually maintain awareness of the market, competitive, and economic conditions that may affect sales of Company products
Conduct quarterly customer business reviews to identify sales/GP$ growth opportunities, using PHOCAS software.
Conduct comprehensive annual customer business review with the purpose of opportunity identification within the account
All other duties as assigned

Education: Associate degree or three (3) years of industry-related and customer service experience. A BS or BA degree is preferred

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of industry experience in outside sales; preferably in electrical, lighting and plumbing

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:

Excellent organizational skills; high attention to detail and accuracy; excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; independent; self-motivated; able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment; excellent interpersonal skills; representing his/her self professionally and courteously; ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally; ability to multi-task, work under deadlines, and prioritize projects to meet deadlines with high levels of efficiency and accuracy. Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
