The purpose of this position is to build strong partnerships with area high schools to provide direct services to students, parents/families and school staff.Assist all students, individually or in groups, with developing academic, college and career goals and plans.Supports school counselors to provide academic advising, college planning, and visits to WITCC campuses.Collaborate with Student Services teams (recruitment, enrollment services, financial aid, student activities, registration).Provide students with information regarding College Now courses including the registration process, course requirements, available WIT academic programs, and campus resources.Connecting students with outreach opportunities (campus visit events, student activities) through face-to-face meetings and digital communication.Supports a smooth transition from 12th grade to post-secondary education at WITCC.Assist College Now students with on-boarding tasks (myWIT, Cengage, Canvas)Provide resources to new and current high school counselors and instructors.Register College Now students for WITCC courses.Use excellent communication and human relations skills.Use database applications to create and manage files and communicate information, maintaining confidentiality.Advance and advocate a campus climate that values inclusion and belonging.Perform other related duties as required.This is a full-time, grade 6, administrative position with an annual salary of $47,090.
