We are seeking an Associate to join our forensic service line within the Forensic and Valuation Services Group (“FVS Group”) in any of our NJ office locations or our NY office location. The FVS Group supports attorneys in the pursuit of their client’s matters through financial analysis and expert testimony. Our group handles matters of Forensic Accounting, Ownership Disputes, Marital Dissolution, Economic Damages, Post Acquisition Disputes, Insolvency, Bankruptcy, White Collar Crime, and Estate matters among others. Staff actively participates in the analysis of financial data for use in these matters necessary to assist the trier of fact to reach conclusions. Staff work directly with Senior Managers, Principles and Partners to advance a particular matter and may have an opportunity to attend settlement conferences, hearings and proceedings, ultimately growing into an expert witness in their own right.

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
- Candidate for CPA exam
- Minimum of 2 years experience in forensic accounting or 2 years experience in either audit or tax with knowledge of business financial processes
- Previous experience in litigation engagements is a plus
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Highly motivated with outstanding analytical skills
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of staff as part of a team, or independently

In addition to the base compensation, Withum offers a competitive benefits package and bonus program (for eligible roles) based on individual and firm performance. Final offer amounts are based on multiple factors such as the specific role, hiring location, as well as the individual’s skills, experience and qualifications. NYC ranges are from $65,000 - $90,000
