This Manager Government Contract Services role will be based out of our Washington D.C office. You'll work alongside an integrated team of seasoned, well-known CPAs and industry leaders. In this position, you have an opportunity to build a strong team and be provided with a path to Partnership.

How You’ll Spend Your Time: 

• Lead client consulting and accounting engagements and facilitate the monthly accounting close for a portfolio of clients
• Provide oversight and training to team members
• Maintain productivity of team members
• Establish deadlines for deliverables while maintaining a favorable budget
• Assist team members with research and resolution of reconciliation variances
• Supervise and review the preparation of workpapers
• Assist with the preparation of Incurred Cost Submissions, Provisional Rate Calculations, Forward Pricing, Indirect Cost Rate Models
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements; Review final deliverables to clients
• Assist team members with preparing corporate and project budgets and forecasts
• Supervise and review the preparation of trend analysis of P&L and indirect cost rates
• Validate the classification, allocability, and allowability of cost based on cost accounting standards
• Ensure clients accounting process in compliant with Acquisition Regulations, Accounting Standard Codifications, and industry best practices
• Establish and document policies and procedures

The Kinds of People We Want to Talk to Have Many of The Following: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
• 5 years of financial reporting, cost accounting, project-based accounting, public accounting, and/or, consulting experience
• 5 years of federal government contracting experience
• 2 years managing projects and leading teams
• Ability to perform full lifecycle accounting (Revenue, Expenditure, Production, Payroll, and Financing cycles)
• Proficient with Unanet, Deltek, and/or JAMIS Prime
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel and/or Power BI developing financial models
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP, FAR, DFARS, ASC
• Detailed and results-oriented and ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with limited direction/supervision
• Self-motivated, proactive, and career driven
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
