We are seeking a talented, entry-level engineer to work as part of the Test Team responsible for the validation of WiTricity’s next generation Electric Vehicle (EV) wireless charging products and vehicle sub-systems.

Based at our HQ in Watertown, MA facility, we are seeking candidates with the following experience:
- Implementing and documenting test plans as required by senior engineers.
- Great troubleshooting skills, analytical mindset, and strong communication of test results.
- Experience managing multiple projects at once, seeking guidance of priorities from managers and peers, and accurately communicating deviations from timelines.
- Thoroughly documenting all stages of work, ensuring clarity and traceability throughout the testing process.
- Working independently in a fast paced, highly technical environment with concurrent projects.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the growing capabilities of our Watertown-based Testing Lab to validate and characterize EV wireless charging products. This will include one-off tests as well as participating in a broader, multi-stage test plan.
- Collaborate with a global, Engineering team to support the research into, production of, and documentation for all projects in the current pipeline.
- Manage the day-to-day testing of a wide array of product offerings based on the requirements of the Engineering group.
- Provide input and recommendation on test equipment purchases as well as external suppliers developing custom built systems used within the test environment.
- Work under the guidance of a senior engineer to generate test reports.
- Other duties as required.
Requirements:
- BS in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least one prior co-op/internship in a test engineering function or development lab environment strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting and/or debugging test equipment.
- Willingness to learn from and contribute to a broad team of engineers.
- Proficiency with basic python automation and inventory tracking software preferred.
- Ability to safely work with high power electronics and follows proper safety precautions in a product lab environment.
- Role requires being onsite with occasional flexibility for WFH.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
