CHIEF OBJECTIVES OF THIS POSITION:

The responsibility of this position is to produce specialized design work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above average attention to detail and concern for the exact correctness of build schematics, 3D renderings, and other design work as specified by a team of Project Managers and a diverse clientele. The position will require a strong commitment to tasks completed on time. A somewhat faster-than-average pace will be the normal requirement for this position. This is not a remote position.

DIRECT REPORTS TO: Director of Production - Creative Services

Key Accountabilities:

  • The accurate and efficient creation of napkin sketches, build schematics, 3D renders, site plans, etc.
  • Organize produced drawings in agency-style decks for team reviewal and client approval
  • Calculate dimensions and weight limitations
  • Communicate bandwidth and produce work within determined deadlines
  • Make adjustments to drawings according to feedback from multiple stakeholders
  • Collaborate with team members to solve unique problems with creative solutions that support our client’s vision
  • Verify drawings are correct to specifications, codes, and other regulations


Related Tasks:

  • Follow production SOPs and organization requirements to ensure that events progress seamlessly while following established procedures.
  • Collaborate with other employees and ensure accuracy and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Production Team to ensure high quality designs (napkin sketches, build schematics, 3D renders, site plans, etc.) meet objectives.
  • Attend production meetings, client/sales calls, and site visits (as necessary)
  • Ability to both work independently and autonomously as well as take direction.
  • Ability to communicate design and progress details both verbally and in writing to the Project Manager (and client when necessary); using Slack, Gmail, and video calls to manage communication. Interpreting/translating information for different stakeholders may be required.

  • Promptly and courteously answer phone calls and emails.
  • Respond to after-hours calls and electronic correspondence from customers & co-workers as needed.
  • Work with customers to resolve problems and report complaints to your supervisor.
  • Actively work to increase personal skills and knowledge.
  • Increase the Company’s customer base through referrals as a result of the quality of service provided.
