Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative will serve as a key internal representative of our company, so you must convey to the client a sense of expertise in printing & mailing, our capabilities and the way we do business within our company culture. Since you will be in contact with key accounts and prospective clients, you will need to display tact, professionalism and sensitivity.
You would be responsible for developing and maintaining profitable relationships with clients on behalf of the company. You will work directly with clients as the primary point of contact to plan and execute their projects in a timely fashion.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests to respond in a timely manner to all client and prospect needs. This includes asking intelligent discovery questions, gathering information for projects, job requirements, estimating projects.
2. The ability to develop a trusting relationship with clients to provide an experience instead of a transaction.
3. Active, participatory problem solving
4. Manage client projects and timelines to meet delivery times.
5. Maintain consistent contact with clients to advise on projects and needs
6. Directly report to Management regarding projects and job status
7. Become versed in company offerings and be able to discuss options and abilities with clients
8. Maintain historical record of all jobs to include timelines, progress, problems
Education / Formal Training Required:
Some college education or equivalent in customer service. Direct mail experience is a plus.
Skills Required:
2 years in a B2B customer service setting.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills with an outgoing, social, energetic personality.
The ability to deal with and manage many different personality types both internally and externally.
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel
Personal sense of urgency to prioritizes well, shows energy, reacts to opportunities, instills urgency in others, meets deadlines.
Decision Making – Willingness and ability to make good, solid decisions based on mixture of analysis, experience, and judgment. Pro-actively recognizes problems and responds.
Ability to maintain and use discretion with confidential information.
