Dock and Door Construction Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Reliable and able to work in 2 person teams with manager.
  • Assist Foreman in daily tasks.
  • Assist Foreman in installing and/or repairing EODs, levelers, seals and shelters for truck loading docks.
  • Assist Foreman in installing and/or repairing rolling steel doors, sectional doors and high-speed doors.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Operate tools used in construction sites.
  • Complete required safety trainings.


Wize Solutions helps perform the install of any of your dock and door needs the “Wize Solutions Way.” We need ambitious technicians willing to install any piece of dock equipment including mechanical, hydraulic, and air levelers, vertical levelers, edge of docks, dock restraints, dock shelters and seals, bumpers, wheel locks.


Job Requirements:

  • Able to lift 40lbs throughout day
  • OSHA 10-hour Certification (raise available when completed)
  • Pass background and drug tests
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Occasional travel
  • Punctual
  • Reliable
  • Adaptable
  • 1 year construction experience (preferred)
  • Welding experience (preferred)
  • Read electrical schematics (preferred)

Salary: $38,400.00 - $40,700.00 Annually
