Lead with us as you will verify compliance of the HACCP program, supporting operations in the areas of prerequisite programs effectiveness, document control, investigations into food safety incidents and assisting with corrective actions, internal auditing, microbial program compliance and training. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Strategize to win – This position drives continuous improvement of the food safety plan for the Lancaster plant.- Leads food safety daily management system execution and management of the CAPA program including tracking and recordkeeping.
- Implements food safety plan changes and verifies compliance with associated procedures.
- Facilitates and develops quality & food safety training for the facility to ensure compliance and execution of required programs.
- Directs and supports food safety risk assessments for construction and maintenance activities.

Maintaining compliance – This role assists the Food Safety Manager in verifying food safety regulatory standards and Kellogg policies and procedures are being followed.
- Assists with facility inspections.
- Assists with internal and third-party audits from SQF.
- May have specific PCQI responsibilities including records review.
- Assist with SQF certification compliance and food safety program reviews and updates.

- Provides on-call support for food safety incidents.
- Conducts environmental testing.
- Other duties as assigned including off-shift and weekend support as needed.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma/ GED with 3 or more years related work experience in food safety, quality, or continuous improvement role.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve, lead and motivate others, and wor with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Safe Quality Food (SQF) Practitioner certification a plus but not mandatory,
- Knowledge of applicable FDA regulations and GFSI standards.
