As the Payroll Analyst for the Battle Creek plant, you will be responsible for processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Demonstrate Payroll Expertise: Process the payroll accurately, correctly and on time – done by daily validations, crewsheet entry and approval; Generate accurate payroll reports using payroll systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Maintain Kronos Time and Attendance system (or other systems) and any upgrades and enhancements to ensure correct reporting of hours being paid.
• Audit Controls – Trace the payroll process for any employee.
• Issue Resolution: Respond to/resolve payroll issues or discrepancies and process grievance payments as requested by HR.
  
  

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• High school diploma/GED required
• Three plus years’ experience working with payroll systems in a high volume, complex environment.
• Experience with reconciling the end-to-end payroll transactions
• Experience working with large, complex ERP systems a PLUS.
• Ability to work within tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy
• Extensive experience with interpersonal relations and advanced interpersonal and communication skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• Experience working with a collective bargaining agreement (union) environment
