Fabrication Machine Operator - 2nd and 3rd shifts available

WKW has several openings for Fabrication Machine Operator. 2nd shift premium of $1.50 and 3rd shift premium of $.70!

Sign on bonus - $1500 for 2nd shift, $1000 for 3rd shift

Description:

• Operate various types of machinery, including: CNC, Saws, Presses, Drills, Mills, Deburr, assembly and other machines. Achieve rates.

Job Duties/Responsibilities - (Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following):

• Produce quality parts and understand the ISO Quality System and meet production quotas.
• Inspect parts and understand exposed surface quality criteria.
• Inspect parts by utilizing calipers, Micrometers, Height Stand, Protractor, light comparators and other measurement devices.
• Replace drills, blades, cutters or other consumable components of the work center.
• Basic operation of the machine.
• Adjust lubrication systems.
• Make minor changes to offsets needed to produce quality parts.
• Perform minor maintenance duties.
• Effectively document via BDE, BDV, SAP each day with correct times and counts.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements/Qualifications – (Requirements may be modified or amended for reasonable accommodations):

• Must pass CNC Operator Machining center test, demonstration requirements and math test.
• Ability to balance multiple duties efficiently.

• Job requires basic math, reading and writing English. Must be able to read ruler measurements.
• Must understand how to use quality measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc. and know quality requirements.
• Must be able to work.
• Read Blue Prints
• Visually inspect for quality issues
• Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds/frequently lift 10-20 pounds.
• Job requires frequent bending, stooping, and twisting, reaching, and repetitive motion of hands.
• Ability to stand up 8 hours, including 2 hours at a time.
• Practical understanding of quality inspection procedures and instruments.
• Pass Eye Exam Standards
• Familiar with Quality Management System (QMS) for IATF requirements and Environmental Management System (EMS) for ISO 14001 (2015)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $22.00 per hour
