Our non-wovens manufacturing facility located in Statesville, NC is currently hiring for several Warehouse Operators on day shift. Assists with setup and operations of assigned production line. Follow instructions of Lead Operator and perform the following duties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Must fold material to specifications described on each customer order.
• Conforms to the proper reading and understanding of Wm T Burnett production schedule and ordered pick lists.
• Performs visual inspection of fiber and finished rolls. Removing all processed waste to its designated area.
• Ensure knowledge of tube cores, packaging materials and stock areas for each.
• Comply with lock-out, tag-out procedures.
• Complies with all safety rules and requirements and refers any unresolved safety issues to the Shift Manager.
• Ensure great housekeeping and organizational skills of production line. Ensure great communication between team members.
• Other duties assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

• Regularly Lift/Carry/Move: up to 10 lbs

• Occasionally Lift/Carry/Move: Up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to stand for an extended period of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise levels, excessive heat and vibrations, fumes and airborne particles, as well as Exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Ability to get along well with co-workers.
