**I. Job Summary**
This position will support the execution of WM's marketing measurement strategy. The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in marketing and the application of data science to develop strategic marketing practices and measurement. This role will challenge the candidate to not only provide strategic direction to internal stakeholders, but also to develop strategic insights into marketing campaign.
The Marketing Analyst will support Demand Gen campaign reporting across key lines of business and additional project-based work. He/she will also add support with the WMPO (WM Phoenix Open).
**II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.
Measure the effectiveness of paid media including SEM, paid social, programmatic display, email, and affiliate marketing, report daily, weekly, and monthly to internal teams and executives.
Provide strategic recommendations for distribution of spend and digital media strategy based on findings and results.
Perform pre/post-campaign analysis, target list development, and scorecards to lead data-driven decision making.
Clean, transform, and ensure accuracy of large digital data sets, using data flows and automations where needed.
Develop models and techniques to measure the business, predict the incremental return on investment and revenue attribution.
Synthesize data from multiple internal data sources to answer impactful business questions.
Optimize visualization tools such as PowerBI with KPIs and actionable insights.
Proactively participate in and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, standardization, and process simplification.
Work with internal and external partners to support Marketing Attribution Experiments, and Campaign Performance Reporting.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish requirements for recurring and ad-hoc analytics; including delivery of reporting, actionable insights, and recommendations to drive business growth.

**IV. Qualifications**
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
**A. Education and Experience**
Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar area of study, or in lieu of High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 4 years of experience.
Experience: Five (5) years of experience in marketing science and/or analytics role (in addition to education requirement)
**B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements**
Google Analytics, Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce.
**C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required**
Data analyst experience to build, validate, and deploy data science models and statistical analysis.
3 years of experience with econometric techniques for test design, marketing attribution, predictive modeling.
Experience working with relational databases and building Marketing Mix or other Marketing Attribution Model.
Experience in developing and executing long term analytical roadmaps that build analytical capabilities and guide their adoption among stakeholders.
Expertise in applied data science models and methods including visualization, clustering, tree-based models, GBMs, optimization, and data-process automation.
Expertise in statistical analysis approaches such as time series, regression, structural equation modeling, forecasting, causal measurement.
Able to develop testing plans and frameworks for evaluating campaigns to generate a body of learning that can be applied across a portfolio of products.
Expertise in synthesizing results of complex topics to share with non-technical audiences.
Demonstrable knowledge working with large user level datasets.
Expertise in combining multiple datasets together to generate strategic insights that drive campaign and targeting strategies.
Strong history of identifying opportunities for conducting analyses to meet business needs and drive the business forward.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and a passion for generating data-based insights with experience working with research organizations.
Talent for taking complex concepts and distilling them into clear accessible formats.
