**Job Summary**
In this role you'll lead teams in Enterprise Analytics & Data Management as a part of the Waste Management's Digital organization. You will deliver enterprise data capabilities, data quality, data management, and advanced data analysis solutions. Demonstrate broad knowledge of highly complex business processes and capabilities. Conducting business process analysis, needs, assessments, and participate in design sessions aligning data technology solutions with business initiatives.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Presents technical processes effectively to all levels of the organization.
Contributes strategic vision and integrates a broad range of ideas regarding data quality solutions and platforms.
Drives architecture, design modeling and strategy for the enterprise.
Negotiates and controls direction of project and change management development life cycles.
Leads and oversees data sessions and team insight reviews.
Leads and performs highly complex analyses of data requirements and of existing business processes and information systems.
Follows methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
Participates in daily stands, sprint backlogs, and planning.
Applies working knowledge of project and change management regarding data quality life cycles.
Manages data quality projects, running data profiling, examining profiling outcomes recommendations.
Takes highly complex applications development projects involving multiple disciplines and may impact multiple facets of the business.
Develops enterprise-level information technology solutions by analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing new and by modifying existing software applications with full competency.
Oversees and leads design/coding sessions, develops solutions, and implements solutions. Articulates design and resolves technical/design conflicts as they occur.
Oversees the coordination with business analysts and users to determine requirements.
Partners with customers and technical staff to resolve problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
Oversees and reviews systems under development and related documentation.
Mentors and fosters growth of peers and team members.
Creates business terms for metatdata for organization, metrics, and KPIs.
Leads advanced systems planning, scheduling and implementation
Applies knowledge of software methodologies and data architecture.
**Principal Architect Responsibilities**
Coach and mentor less experience analysts and act as team leader on selected system projects.
Advises and works alongside scrum masters to coordinate project planning.
**Qualifications**
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
**A. Education and Experience**
Bachelor's Degree (accredited), in computer science, MS, or similar area of study, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Ten (10) years of previous experience in addition to education requirement.
**B. Preferred Experience**
10 years of Data Management specifically Data Quality Implementations and/or Software Development.
10 years experience in Enterprise Data Quality or related experience in Statistics, BI, DW, Data Management.
Data Quality Platforms (IDQ, DQ labs)
Data lineage, loading and mapping metadata.
Cloud DW (Snowflake, Redshift)
Microservices such as Informatica
Cloud Architecture (AWS)
