Job Description: Mazars in the U.S. is hiring! Our Tax Operations and Administration group seeks an experienced Tax Administrator to join our Tax Operations team. We seek a professional who excels at meeting client deadlines, works effectively on a team and independently, has a passion for our profession, and demonstrates success supporting other tax professionals. In this role you will be responsible for assisting in the processing and the delivery of client tax returns across multiple disciplines and industries, while supporting and partnering with our firm's Tax Partners, Tax Managers, and Tax Staff on various tax-related administrative and client matters. This position is in our Pennsylvania office located in Fort Washington, PA. Our firm prefers an in-office work environment with work from home flexibility. The standard office hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm daily. What you will do: Essential Duties: Process tax returns and extensions, both electronically and on paper Ensure quality control is kept consistent with policies and procedures Electronically deliver client engagement letters and track their status Tracking the delivery of paper filings Tracking and storing source documents Partnering with Resource Management team on XCM. What We Seek: Qualifications: Prior working knowledge of MS Office required Knowledge of CCH Engagement, CCH Workflow (XCM), SafeSend, and other essential tax-related technology and tools a plus Prior work experience demonstrating excellent client support skills in a CPA firm, a professional services firm, or a tax consulting practice Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment Proactive, self-motivated, enthusiastic with a positive "can do" attitude Reliable, punctual and exhibits a professional demeanor Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) Ability to work extra hours when needed, specifically during both the Spring tax season and the Fall tax season (March, April, September, and October) Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
