What are the responsibilities and job description for the Child Watch Attendant position at WMNI DHQ 61493?
Under general supervision from the respective department manager, the Kroc Attendant position will be available for the following areas: Fitness Center, Gymnasium, Climbing Wall, Game Room, Child Watch, Pool, and Events. Kroc Attendants will be responsible for providing information about the facility and our programs and for providing prompt customer service to all the patrons in their assigned area. They will be responsible for the cleanliness of their assigned area and for enforcing safety guidelines.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate equipment check-in and out procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned area and it’s equipment following departmental specific guidelines
• Return all equipment to the proper location
• Report all equipment breakdowns according to departmental procedure
• Enforce all safety guidelines that pertain to the assigned area on a constant and consistent basis.
Child Watch/Game Room Attendant
Supervise and entertain children placed in Child Watch and the Child Watch areas.
• Follow check-in/check-out procedures for all children
• Verify membership and day pass users.
• Maintain daily observation logs and all paperwork related to the assigned shift.
• Inform Supervisor or Lead of parents with warnings on their accounts (late fees, loss of name tags etc.), and discipline concerns with children.
• Be aware of and apply concepts from the 40 Developmental Assets.
Ensure child/patron safety
• Report any suspicion of child abuse to the Youth Development Supervisor or Lead
• Assist in any emergencies or accidents, filling out incident reports as needed.
Qualifications:
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Spanish preferred.
• Be able to lift and carry 40 lbs.
