PositionSummary :
As a Dedicated Solo Truck Driver for ourpartners account youll play a pivotal role in the transportation ofcritical railroad parts across designated routes.
Starting in Dayton OH this 5day weekly routeincludes stops in Fort Wayne IN Elkhart IN ChicagoIL and other locations as needed.
A Hazmat endorsement is required as 20%of the loads consist of brokendown locomotive parts. While weekendand holiday work is part of the job we prioritize worklifebalance.
Responsibilities :
- Deliveries andPickups : Handle both deliveries and pickupsefficiently and safely.
- RouteManagement : Ensure timely and secure transport offreight.
- ManualHandling : Lift boxes (up to 50 lbs.) and assist withmoving freight to the back of the trailer using a manual palletjack.
Schedule :
- Miles : 20 stopsper week with weekly mileage ranging from 2191 to 2600miles.
- Pay : Average weekly pay is $1495.05 with an annual pay of$76248.00.
- HomeTime : Includes a 34hour reset day varying based oncustomer shipping days.
Requirements :
- Experience : 6months of recent tractortrailerexperience.
- HazmatEndorsement : Required for handling hazardousmaterials.
- PhysicalAbility : Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Holiday Work : Drivers are scheduled to work holidays except Christmas unlessotherwise specified by the customer. Holiday work is compensatedwith regular pay plus holiday pay. Locations :
