The OTR Solo Van Driver will work independently, demonstrating strong organizational and time-management skills to manage schedules and meet delivery deadlines.
This role requires flexibility, as it involves extended periods on the road and overnight stays.
Responsibilities :
Safely operate a van for long-distance transportation of goods.
Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle mileage.
Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers.
Manage schedules and delivery deadlines independently.
Qualifications :
At least 21 years of age
At least 6 months OTR, tractor trailer experience in the last year
No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
No license suspensions in the past 3 years
No more than 2 DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years
No DUI / DWI ever
Complete a DOT Physical at orientation at no charge
