- 7 years of experience in working on statistical models using modern data science approach to solve CPG business problems in pricing, promotion, consumer behaviour, assortment, new product lunch, drivers, forecasting etc. Strong knowledge of primary research, secondary research data and related application in research and marketing analytics consulting.
- In depth understanding of various market research protocol, analytics solution framework, marketing consulting, retail data analysis, consumer behavior, usage and attitude study, data manipulation, campaign effectiveness and house hold panel analysis.
- Own, coach and develop a team of analysts and
provide thought leadership and guidance to analysis output and accuracy and coaching team on analytical solution frameworks, generating actionableinsights and making final business presentations to client
- Use quantitative methods & solutions for development on key business strategy/ consumer insights/sales /channel and category management and generate insights/ develop analytical solutions leveraging existing research, syndicated, client internal data and other market information for the client.
- Client relationship management at a senior manager, associate VP/
director level on the client side
- Develop sound understanding the client's business challenges, key
stake holders, data available and way of applying analysis tobusiness.
- Drive thought leadership and proactively ideate, develop and propose solution for marketing consulting projects beyond projects that clients initiate
Tools:
- Advance Excel, SPSS (or related tool), R ( plus but not mandatory)
Skills:
- CPG/FMCG/Market Research Data Experience- Nielsen, Household Panel data, Euromonitor, POS data, consumer research data like Brand Health Tracks, Usage and Attitude, Concept/ Product Testing etc
- Category Management, Brand Planning Assessment, Pricing, Promotion and New Launch Analysis
- Strong story-telling and Marketing analytics ability
- Statistical techniques- Knowledge of descriptive and predictive analytics techniques like Forecasting, Segmentation, Regression.
- Very strong Project management and client management skill
